Work permit extension

Hi all,

I am one of the victims of mon projet csq debacle. My work permit is expiring end of March, employer is applying for LMIA, however i know that should not be processed in due time.

As an alternative would it be possible for my spouse to get into some language school here in Montreal, and on those basis I could apply for work permit extension? If not, what programs are eligible or strongly recommended under this option?
