work permit extension delay since March

I applied for work permit extension since March 2020 and in August requested for atip but still got no response.it is paper based application.i am eligible for permanent residence but what to do as I got no response of my permit extension.???

you are under implied status - meaning you can still legally work under the same employer if it's a close work permit

I am working but still worried about my permit as I got no response whether my file is in process or not as I am applying for permanent residence that process can also be delayed ,at least immigration department must send some response if they’re processing or not

I am waiting w/p extension from last 7 months. When did you get ? What was the issue ?
