Hello

(LMIA based closed work permit) is taking too long to process.
The processing time from the UAE is now at 23 weeks and it’s been 32 weeks since I did my biometrics.

below is my timeline

application submitted : 11 march 2024
Biometrics instruction letter: 18 march 2024
Biometrics completed: 20 march 2024
Medical results passed : 22 march 2024

since then I’ve been is eligibility review and background check

hopefully I get a decision soon

November 7: medicals requested again as the previous results have expired
Does this mean good news soon or is it unrelated?
