I would like to ask some questions regarding documents needed for work permit application.
1. For documents as proof of relevant work experience and education, is it okay to provide a xerox copy? Particularly the Diploma and Transcript of Records. Because I want to save original copies for myself in case I will need them in the future.
2. For proof funds, is it also okay to submit a xerox copy? I want to save the original and use it at the port of entry.
In all of the documents required for work permit application, what documents need to be original copy? This is excluding police certificates.
See the document checklist; if it says copy then a photocopy will do. As to experience, you can photocopy certificate of employment. I know the Philippines require authenticated copies of proof of education, that is, Diploma/School certificate, transcript of records, need the "red ribbon seal" from DFA.

I will apply here in Taiwan and I'm not sure if they will require the same thing. Do other embassies require Filipino citizen to provide documents that are DFA authenticated if we would apply not in our country?
If I will be able to submit DFA authenticated documents, will they return them?
I am not sure about Taiwan. But I know of somebody who applied in the US and the documents were authenticated. No, the consular/visa office did not return the documents. You photocopy the transcripts anyway and then have it certified at the CHE before bringing it to DFA .
