Hi, I applied for permanent residency under the 'Experience Class'. It has been three months since I received the confirmation from immigration office. My question: is it possible to apply for a work permit while they process the application? I'm in real need for a job. But without a work permit, I can't work. Do I have any other options open? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.
Cheers

Nope, you have to obtain an approved LMO to get a work permit.
