I am on open workpermit. My work permit is valid till may 18th 2018. My wife got her open work permit on the basis of mine. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to apply for my PR and not for my family. I just got my PR approval recently. I got my immigration Visa stamped in my passport. In the mean time, my wife and I had come to india. When I go back I will enter as a immigrant. My wife does not have a PR.
Once I enter canada now I will officially become PR. That means my work permit will become invalid.
We are planning to go back to canada on march 4th. Is her work permit and visa valid for her to enter canada now? or she has to change her status to a visitor visa to see me. That means we have to cancel her ticket and then reapply for a visitor visa.
