I have a query with respect to my work experience. I have worked for 5 employers and I have 10+ years of experience. My experience with the current employer is 4.75 years. For the first 2 employers, experience amounts to 4.5 years. I can provide reference letters for all of these. But for the 3rd and 4th employer, I find it very hard to get a reference letter as the company is a startup and none of them (HR/Manager/Team) are there now. Is it fine if I can remove them from my work experience and just have them as part of my personal activities history? When submitting my express entry profile, I had all 5 employers stated in my work experience section. I got my ITA as well. Is it ok to remove them now? The years of work experience required for PR is 3+ and I anyway have that. Will removing those experience details cause any issue?

You get maximum CRS points for a maximum of 3 years of experience and for only those experiences you choose to claim points for, you need to provide reference letters. Everything else will be in your personal history section post ITA
