I have masters degree in engineering and a total of 3 years of work experience.
The sequence of events is as follows:
Bachelors
6 months of Work Experience- Company A
Masters
15 months of Work Experience- Company A
15 months of Work Experience- Company B (Present)
All of the work experience is related to my education and in the same NOC. Have got my masters evaluated from WES but have a query regarding the work experience.
As 6 months of my work experience is after my bachelors and before beginning of masters and 2.5 years after completion of my masters.
Will the total work experience be calculated as 2.5 years or 3 years?
AFAIK calculation of work experience is independent of your education time period. Why would you think otherwise? Is all your work experience with Company A and B under the same NOC code?
I have this doubt about the time period as the work experience is not continuous and part of it is less than one year also. And there is a break of almost two years owing to masters.
With a gap of 2 years it won't be considered as continuous work experience. I read in one of the threads a persons' work experience was not considered continuous when he only had a 33 days gap between changing employers.
This is my opinion. You could ask around in other threads too.
'Continuous' work experience is for meeting the minimum eligibility criteria of the relevant economic class. While for total work experience, 3 years will count.

Your total work experience would be counted as 3 years.
