Hi all,

Super thankful for anyone reading/responding to my post. I am new to the forum and currently filling the EE application myself. I am mostly confused by the work experience qualification, and the support letter to verify my work experience.
I am currently working in US for 19 months and previously I had 1 FT and 1 intern experience post graduation. Together I have 3 positions:

- Company A, analyst for 10 months full-time. NOC 0124 advertising, marketing
- Company B, summer intern for 2 months (each week >40hrs). NOC 1112 financial and investment analyst
- Company C, analyst for 19 months full-time, NOC 1112. Current job

When I add these together, it seems like I have 31 months of work experience. But I have also seen on other posts that when IRCC reviews the application, they count the work experience by hours per week. My major question is on my internship, which I did work >40hr per week but I know its gonna be hard to prove as it is an "internship". Did anyone have the same issue?

Second question:
All the companies that I worked / am currently working at are big firms. They have strict procedures(!) for what can be included in the employment letter. I have contacted one of my previous firms for an employment letter but the HR was only able to share me a "termination letter" which has my title of job, start date and termination date.
I read it somewhere else that we have to submit an employment letter which contains our job description, work salary, etc.
If so, would any other materials or letter help this situation?
I can get my tax filling, pay stub, and maybe one letter from previous manager (who has already left the company). Would it help?

Again, thank you so much for your help on this. I really appreciate everybody's time.

1) An internship does not count as work experience and IRCC won't take that into consideration.
2) Yes a letter from a previous manager would help but however IRCC might verify it with the HR if they have any issues.

Hi Thank you so much for the reply! Apologize if I am making any confusion, does internship post graduation count? Can I understand any job position with "intern title" wont be applicable on this case?
My intern was with some investment firm and I did a lot of travelings/work late during the internship so the hours were definitely longer than 40hrs/weekly.

Thank you again!
