is there any updates from IRCC that I am missing?.. I heard from many people that work experience gained during study permit is counted towards total hours required for PR. To elaborate if one is working 20 hrs per week as cashier while studying gets any benefit of these hours when applying for PR?..
My understanding was only professional experience gained during PG work permit is counted towards PR application..
please let me know if there are any changes recently.. your inputs are much appreciated..TIA

For this year, IRCC opened the one-time TR to PR programs where those with certain kinds of work experience (including work experience gained while studying) have a new path to PR. These do appear to be one time programs for this year only and several of them have already met their application cap and aren't accepting further applications. It is not expected that this will be an option for the future.
