Work Experience - NOCs

Hello,
I'm a mechanical engineer and i work for a company for 2 and a half years. But six months of this 2,5 years were as a engineer intern and another nine months as a mechanical engineer technican. Does these work experience counts as only one for the express entry or it has to be in only one position in company? I'm planning to travel in 2018 and until there i'll be 3 years in this company and gain more points.
