Work Experience - Multiple countries

Hello Everyone!

I have around 8 months of work Experience in NZ and around 9 months here is Australia (Country of Residence) in almost same job/duties and while calculating points I selected one year experience.

So my question here is will it make any difference not having one year continuous experience in a occupation? or I should wait for 12 months to be completed here in Australia?

Also Reference letter from workplaces indicating hours worked, duties, timeframe and few payslips is enough to prove work experience? That is all I got!

If your NOC is same for both jobs and there are no offs between 1st and 2nd job, you are good.

What do you mean by offs? Do you mean time gap between two jobs? Roughly 2-3 months. NOC is same just different employers.

It has to be continuous and no gaps, you have 2-3 months gap in between.

Okay thanks you sure about it? As of my knowledge you need to demonstrate 1 year of work period in total. So If I have 1 year 6 months in a position and after that few months gap and 1.6 months in another I'll be treated as 2 years instead of 3 years?

Thanks mate sorted I'll wait for 12 months in Australia by the time I get ECA and IELTS result. Bit different for Australia that's why I had doubts.
