Work Experience due to coronavirus

I am currently on my work permit here in Canada. Due to coronavirus, i got temporary lay off. But company is still paying me 20% of my pay on top of EI. But will this duration will be counted in my work experience period or not?

It will not be counted unless IRCC changes rules due to COVID-19.
