I just realized I am eligible for the TH to PR pathway for essential workers. I am really close to the 1560 hours, but I have question. Do sick days count towards this experience? Even if they were paid by worksafe BC? I got COVID on April this year and couldn't go to work for almost a month. That's 160 hours of work which is almost what I need to get the amount of hours needed. They don't show up on my paystub because my company didn't pay me for them, WorkSafe did. I ran out of "paid sick days" and they sent my info to WorkSafe BC and I got paid through them.
Also, I work 40 hours a week, if I decide to take on a part-time job on the weekend can I get to the hours faster? HELPP
