"work/education" : if I had short break during work period at same company ?

I worked at a company for 1 year and 7 months ,during that period, I took 1 month break for vacation.
do I have to list this 1 month seperate on work/education section ? or just write worked 1 and 7 months and work/education column and
explain 1 month break at "Employer or school attended" section ?
it is kinda divide my work period into 2 period and doesn't looks good ?
please advice ?

List it as one period and mention the break/vacation between brackets.

if its a vacation you don't need to divide your work period. if you left the company and came bake after month with a new contract you need to divide the period
