Work as self contractor while PR federal under process

I having one question regarding my PR, i am currently in Alberta. I did my study in Alberta after i work in my field job and applied for AINP under AOS i got it approved with no employment restriction. Then i applied for Federal PNP its been 6-7 months i got my file no for federal. So, can i change my job if i am getting job in same field as i studied and same field i am working right now. Moreover, the new job i am getting its a self employed job in which i have to open my own company. So my question can I work as a self employed while my Federal file under process ? Other than that even new job can pay be as a employee. So, can anybody please help me out to make decision. Thanks in Advance
