Hi
I had my PR Card done last year and it was a pain in the ass to complete that part about my employment/study history in the previous 5 years. I had a lot of jobs during that time and I didn't exactly remember the exact day I started and stopped working at a specific place, so I had to call each one of those places and get the info from them. After several weeks and a lot of "Call me back tomorrow"s and "I'm not sure I can give you that information" and "Oh, it's you again", I managed to gather everything I needed.
Now I'm preparing my citizenship application and they ask the same information in the form. The problem is, I lost the text file where I had saved all the dates I needed for the PR Card application. I can still call each one of the jobs and go through that hassle again, but I was thinking; is it possible to ask Immigration Canada for a copy of my PR Card Application? That would make things much easier. If not, I have another question: one of the companies I worked has closed. I still haven't called anyone and I don't know if I can somehow find out when I started and stopped working there, but what if I can't get this information?
