Withdraw of asylum and going back to USA

I entered to canada on Nov 23, 2023 from USA by road through Fort eerie port as a refugee claimant. I have only a valid USA B2 VISA. I am yet to submit my "basis of refugee claim form" to the authority. Now can I withdraw my claim and go back to USA??

Ask on a US immigration forum and find out if your US visa was cancelled when you claimed asylum.

Your departure from the USA to Canada has been been sent to the United States . More than likely you claiming refugee has triggered a cancellation of your B2.

You will probably get an email from the Department of State stating it’s cancelled and you’re no longer qualified to hold it

USA/Canada share data on individuals for this exact reason. So one can’t claim asylum, then attempt to go back

You should assume you won't be able to return to the US.

First of all, the US has most likely canceled your B2.

Secondly, Canada will require you to book a flight ticket to your home country and will only return your passport to you at the airport once you are leaving Canada.
