Winter weather at Windsor

Hello, I am planning to study at the university of Windsor this coming January. I need some packing tips for handling the Windsor winter weather. I am from India. What kind of clothes and shoes should I bring?are jeans enough, simple shoes and boots or boots with fur? Etc.

Hi,
Do not buy shoes or jacket from India. you should buy a winter jacket and shoes from Canada only.
However, you can buy some Thermals from India. Thermals are costly here and quality is same.
Considering you are coming in January, you should get a normal jacket from India only for the initial 2-3 days.

I should point out also that clothing stores like Marks sell warm lined jeans. Combined with thermals they are pretty darn warm.
