Which are the best neighborhoods in Winnipeg for families, low crime etc.?
we are looking into winnipeg as an option. so i keep hearing winnipeg has a high crime rate..is this all over the city or are there fairly safe areas too...if so what are some nice ones.

North End is the area you must avoid. South is one of the safest area and is close to u of manitoba. If you exclude "north end" from the city, then crime rate in winnipeg is relatively less than other cities.
