Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has recently received any updates from the Winnipeg Office.
Here is my timeline:
Received : Oct 9 , 2012
In process : March 20, 2013
Cheers,
Winnipeg office is slow as molasses. Call centre is estimating 19 months to the test right now. But take that with a grain of salt. I know someone who waited 25 months for the test.

links18,
So, if you get a post test RQ means you will have to wait forever!
If you tell Call Center reps that there are people who are become citizens in less than 7 months; they will tell you those are fall under the 20% ratio in the processing.....

Yes, there is a gross inequity in treatment based on geography going on right now. If someone is going to start a class action on this point, I'm all in.
I have another friend, sent documents in May 2012, process started in March 2013 and still waiting!
I wish there was something we could do about it.

Complain to the provincial Minister of Labour and Immigration. Her name is Erna Braun. If she gets enough letters and calls, maybe she will look into it with the feds. Tell her the province is not as attractive to immigrants due to the extreme citizenship processing delays.
