hi all,
I am married and planning to visit Canada alone for 10 - 14 days in August for tourism purposes.I have some old college friends that I may meet their.
*** I just want to ask about the police certificate and medical test.Shall I apply for them before applying for the visa so I can include them in my papers?
***Also, I traveled to Cyprus once while I was a child.Would that help my application getting approved?.
***I own a home in my own country but the contract is in Arabic , would it help if I translate it into English by a legal translator.

You must include certified translations of the documents translated into English
Your application is likely to be approved if you provide evidence that you will return to your home country: Employment/business + property ownership + family ties + good financial situation, etc
Thanks for the reply Bryanna , I live in a gulf country ...My mother lives here too and my wife is pregnant and I have my daughter school enrollment will start in September so i need for sure to return..Do I need to include these proofs as strong ties to home country in my application ? .One more thing, the home I own is in my home country not here where I reside in the gulf country.Would that be ok? financial situation and letter from work are no issue...Do I need a letter of any kind from anyone in Canada for my visit , since it is for tourism....one more question , do I need to include a non confirmed reservation for the hotel and return air ticket ?...Please help and thanks a lot for your support.
In addition to this:
1. You must submit proofs that your mom, wife and you live at the same address + marriage certificate + a doctor's note stating the due date for your wife + + birth certificate of your daughter+ her school enrollment/tuition fee receipt
2. It could help marginally if you have a Canadian host (relative instead of friends). You must include an invitation letter + copies of his/her passport + immigration status in Canada, etc
3. Do not book any tickets/hotels until you are approved
4. You must work really hard to prove your ties as the visa officer could question why you want to visit Canada to meet your friends.... or why you'd like to visit as a tourist alone.... instead of visiting a European country which is closer to where you are
