Hey guys!
I quick question here, after marriage I'll sponsor my lover to immigrate to Canada. Currently we're in Canada, but after the marriage and submitting the documents for inland spouse sponsor class & open work permit, he might have to leave Canada for 2 months. In this case, will Canada border reject him coming back to Canada later?
Btw, is there any special permit showing that he's applying for PR so that the border will let him enter Canada?
So many thanks!

There's generally no issue returning to Canada. Your partner will need to have a valid eTA or TRV to re-enter. There is no special permit.
The potential issue is that the inland application route requires the applicant to be cohabitating with their sponsor in Canada. Sometimes IRCC gets fussed about this when applicants don't do this and sometimes they don't. So that's the dice roll.
