Hello there,
We, i and my wife, would like to put PR for Canada soon. We are preparing for IELTS, and then we will apply further. Now the issue is that, after marriage my wife's documents has not been changed to my name. Her all the documents are in her father's name. She doesn't not have passport yet. So now what we do? Whether we make her passport with her father's name? Or whether we change her documents with my name?
Kindly give relevant information.

Thanks in advance

Does not matter, you can keep your current passports. Just attach your marriage certificate if required.
My wife has not changed her name after marriage and it didn't matter

Thank you Mr. Parth
For PR, only passport require?
If not then which are the other documents required?

For all documentation purposes you can leave her name as her maiden name.

Changing name after marriage is not required in any country including Canada and India. It is just a custom.

But i would still suggest to get your name added instead of her father's when you apply for her passport. Proves to be beneficial.
