Why i am not getting new SIN after landing

i landed yesterday and border officer check my COPR ask some question told sign both copr and did some work at computer after said congrats you are now canada pr

but today i went to service canada for new sin the lady cic didn't update yet what does it mean

is it normal

I did landing on 21st Nov and went for SIN on 23rd Nov and got it

If you are already having a temporary SIN( being a worker ) then merely by looking at your COPR after landing the Service Canada office will update you SIN to new permanent SIN without any delay.It is a simple & straight forward process.

True. I landed at Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, then walked immediately over to the Service Canada office and had a new SIN within a few minutes.
