my hubby's appln to sponsor our baby has been approved. a letter has been sent to his old address so he cant get it. what will be the content of it if approved? also from where will we get the file no. from cic or newdelhi visa office where the file is transferred?

will the new delhi office contact me(i am in india) saying they received the appln.?

Yes if he is not there to retrieve the letter it will just state he was approved to sponsor and the app has been sent to the visa office.Then the visa office will also send a document stating they have recieved it and are processing it.But since it is your baby they may also send thet form to the same place.
Yon need to do an address change or your going to miss all mail.Its not like a spousal sponsorship where they send the applicant all the info it is a baby,so they will likely keep sending the mail to him.
You should be able to check the results online with the recipt number he had for the fees.
