Who is a certified translator in India?

Hi

Where can I get my documents translated? Who’s this certified translator?

People here usually get their documents translated from a notary public. Will that work?

Do we need to get an affidavit also from the translator? If yes, can you please tell what is written in that affidavit?

Also do we need to scan the original or a certified true copy along with the translations?

Certified translator
A member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada.

Based on the above description, there are no "certified translators" possible outside of Canada

Preferably use the certified translators and yes the original documents always have to be scanned (in translation case also notarised: please see the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...renewal-change-sex-designation.html#documents) and sent to IRCC with certified translated copies.

So it all means that we do not necessarily need to go for a certified translator. And from above links, it seems to be a very expensive and tedious task to get translations from a certified translator.

So what I have understood so far about translation is that I will submit the following:
1. A certified true copy of original document.
2. A certified translation of the document.
3. An affidavit from the translator.

Please tell me if that’s right. And please correct me if I’m missing something.

Just contact them on their website, they will give you a quote. Its different for different documents. Generally 1000 RS

Will the same translated copy from 3ade accepted by ircc for PR application?
