which visa can I apply for my children when I apply post-graduation work permit?

I am applying post-graduation work permit after I just graduated from a college.

Now my children live in Canada with visitor visa, and study in a primary school.

Our visa will be invalid until the mid of May.

I wonder which visa I should apply for my children? or extend their Visitor visa ?

I checked official website,got this exception:
In some cases, minor children do not need a study permit to study in Canada:
minor children who are already in Canada with parents who are allowed to work or study in Canada, and who want to attend pre-school, primary or secondary school.


Need I apply for my children if we have got work permit ?
