I’m currently in Canada with an IEC worker visa. I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant with my Canadian-born partner’s child and I’m now unsure on the method I should use to apply for residency.
I was originally going to apply taking the CEC route but I was going to choose the option with 1 year’s work experience however right now, it’s looking like I won’t have a full year’s experience in the necessary category as I was laid off due to Covid-19. Due to this I was considering choosing a family option.
Is there another route I should take in applying for citizenship?

Have you lived with your partner for a year or more and can prove it? If so, apply for PR as common-law. If not, get married and apply for PR as spouse. Process takes about a year. Expect delays due to covid.

what province do you live in? Assume Ontario? The biggest issue will be that you will need to get health coverage and having a Canadian’s baby does not give you health coverage.

Getting PR through a family immigration stream is only an option if you have a Canadian spouse or common law partner. Having a Canadian born child gives you no path to PR or citizenship.
If you don't have a Canadian spouse or common law partner, you shoudl continue focusing on qualifying through programs like CEC, FSW / Express Entry or PNP. These are really your only options.
