My IELTS result shows my First Language as Telugu which is what i had selected as it is my native language.

If i select None for the question "Which language test did you take for your first official language?" I am told i am not eligible.

Do i need to get my IELTS corrected to state English as my first language?

You interpreted the question wrongly. You should just answer "IELTS" for that question.
