Can anybody please help which checklist (the information guides given in Part 3) I have to use. I am confused whether I have to select my checklist based on the nationality of my spouse or her country of residence. Her country of residence is Saudi Arabia but she is a Pakistani national. So I dont know which checklist I should use, the one for Middle East or the Pakistani one?
If shes a resident in SA for 1 or more years (dont know exactly howmany years) then you need to use checklist of saudi and your application would be processed in SA or what ever embassy it represents

no I was a resident of kuwait before moving to canada my papers were processed in Abudabhi canadian embassy not india my home country. No one will move to and fro from their country of residences for this processes.
theres a option in imm008 asking about your country of residence.OP can can also try with upfront medicals for his spouse.

Yes, a few years ago when you applied, there was a good chance of it being based on residence. However, recently, the vast majority are being sent to the VO of nationality, even those who have resided in a different country for many years.
I'm a UK citizen and was resident in the UAE when i filed my application. I used the checklist for Western Europe (my country of nationality and not my country of residence) but my application was processed in ADVO and not LVO.
