I am from Mauritius. I am planning to send my documents for the application of CSQ in Feb 2010. I will really appreciate if anyone can help me out on my confusion.
My husband is a Pakistani and I have been staying in Pakistan since March 2008 on visit visa (still valid uptil April 2013). I moved to Malaysia on 22nd June 2009 on dependent visa as my husband is studying in Malaysia. I am the principal applicant. To which BIQ should i send my documents?
thks

From MICC website:
-The country where you legally reside other than as a visitor (tourist) or asylum seeker.
-You must have been legally admitted to this country for a period of at least one year.
-You must be residing in this country at the time of receipt by the immigration office concerned of your application for a selection certificate or your application for a certificate of acceptance.
From my understanding, you must submit your application to the Bureau d'immigration du Québec à Paris.
Seniors, please correct me if I'm wrong.
hi, thks for the reply. I got an email from both BIQ Paris and BIQ Hongkong. I was told to submit to either one of them. Even though, I am on visit visa in Pakistan but it is my country of residence after wedding. So I guess, BIQ Hongkong will consider the application.
