On the police clearance certificate page for Australia it says "The police certificate is to be sent to the office processing your application for a Canadian visa". I am in the UK and i send my application to Mississauga, however, it will then be sent to London and this is where the doctor sent my medical results. Therefore my question is, should the police certificate be sent to london or Mississauga, as it looks like it is going to take a few more weeks to come back and i want to send my visa application off now.
Once your application gets to London, they will request the police certificate if it's not been included with the initial submission of the ap. Don't send it prior to it being requested - you'll need your London file number before you send any info or documents to London - otherwise, you really risk them losing it and you'll have to do it all over again.
Also, usually we recommend that you send everything with the initial application - even if it delays your submission for a few weeks. That's because then you control the delay, rather than them. It will delay processing of your ap when they have to write to you and request more documents because sometimes they will allow you 90 days to submit the info - and they don't pick up the file to see if you've actually sent the info until that 90 days is past.
Thanks very much, so should i go ahead and send my application to Mississauga? I have everything including payment receipt etc, all except this police certificate. Also, does this mean the medical one that was send to London is likely to be lost
