Hello to all members of this community. I would appreciate your opinions and help on this matter.
I am a Canadian citizen and my spouse is currently holding an unexpired PR card. We live abroad and will be visiting Canada to attend my brother's wedding next year. We are thinking about visiting the USA while we are in town and would like to know where my spouse (1st visit, if ever) should apply for his tourist visa since our country of residence is not part of the VWP. My thoughts are to apply for the tourist visa in our country of residence since it will take some time before the tourist visa gets approved, rather than waiting until we arrive in Canada. Was hoping to get everything settled before we go. Thanks a lot!!
