I have got a very basic question, after seeing and hearing that everyone is preferring Toronto, I have also put ON - Toronto as my intended destination in Canada. Honestly speaking i have no idea at all hoe toronto looks like, but know for sure that since evryone is moving there so cost of living will be quite high, and job market would be pretty tight. Is it ok or there are other places where living costs are low, lest populated yet less congested and have more job opportunities. Please suggest why is it that everyone wants to rush to Toronto !
Thanks
There could be different opinions on this subject. A good percentage of new immigrants while applying, does not have any knowledge about every provinces of Canada. Most of them choose any one of the popular cities either Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal or Edmonton. Of course cost of living is high in such large cities.
From the media publications and websites, Alberta in general and Calgary specifically have for years stood apart in Canada for having the highest per capita GDP, the lowest unemployment rates and the most rapid population growth among all provinces and cities, respectively, in Canada. You should choose a city based on your profession or skills.
