Hello everyone,

I am preparing to apply study permit and wondering where should I apply. I am now living in Korea, my home country is Viet Nam. I want to apply visa (online) here in Seoul but it has some issues make me thinking that I need to discuss with someone or having advice before making decision.I have finished my graduate study in February then my current status in Korea is visa D10 (Seeking Job) and it will expire August 13. There is no problem for me to extend it. Actually, I am working as a research assistant which is listed as my current employment. I hold this position since 2012 and because it is on-campus work so I don't need specific status to have it. So is there any conflict between my current status and my current employment ? And with this current status in Korea is there any negative impact on my visa application or should I come back to my home country to have stronger status (citizenship) ?

I really appreciate any advice and discuss. I am willing to provide more of my information or profile if anyone need it.

As per rules, you must apply from your current country of residence, Korea.

Thanks J5M. I am going to apply online next week and one more things I am wondering is that from February 2012 to February 2014 my visa status is student, and from February 2014 until August 2014 I have changed to seeking job visa. So, what should I fill in application form about current country of residence status and period ?
