I have a letter of acceptance for a PG Diploma for May 2019 intake. Since it's almost a year from now my question is when should I apply for student visa. The university is asking me to apply asap but I am not sure if this is a good idea. Can you please let me know if it is OK to apply for student visa now or should I wait for some more time?
You can apply whenever you want as long as you have an acceptance letter
Also, if there is a deadline to pay tuition fees for your program, then you need to pay it. But you need to check whether your college will provide you with a full refund or not in case of study permit rejection
