When the time comes, can the PPR and interview be done in Canada?

Hi,

I have an Outland PR application in process for my UK husband. We’ve done and passed the medical and biometrics. His application has been moved to the London Visa Office. It’s been six months since we’ve seen each other and we both want him to come to Canada on a visitor visa (which is what we’ve done in the past).

I know at some point there will be a passport request and an interview. With his file being processed by the LVO right now, is it possible for him to do to passport request and interview in Canada if those requests arise while he’s here?

Does anyone know the answer or who I should ask to get a definite answer?

Interviews are only required in a limited number of applications - typically when there is a concern if the relationship is genuine. You most likely won't need an interview.

If an interview is required, it will be held in the UK and cannot be moved to Canada.
