When is AOR given ?

Hi All,

I wil be sending my CEC application (under NOC A) on 1st December 2014 , so when AOR will be issued ? The limit reached under CEC as on today is 4480 out of 8000 overall limit, so what r the chances my application is considered in the balance limit ?

Usually in one month or max two months. Go ahead and apply. You don't need to worry about no. of applications as there are still a lot to go.

Wrong. Currently, it takes more than 3 months (and increasing each passing day).

Few of my friends got it in 1 month recently. No one can say regarding timeframe exactly in that way as it can increase or decrease any time and also varies from case to case NOC code etc.

We can't conclude based on statistics like spreadsheets. Many people don't join this forum and don't update the sheet henceforth.

The spreadsheets show a pretty consistent trend though: it's true that not everyone who applies joins this forum but it seems unlikely that anyone who applied recently would have gotten their AOR within a month. What month did your friends who got the AOR in 1 month apply Bob? It used to be about a month but it appears to be a lot longer now, certainly for applicants from September onward

It used to be one month to get AOR for applicants from Jan - May 2014.. since then it increased to 2 months for June and July applicants.. now August applicants are currently getting their AORs.. based on the different trackers available.. so safe to say AOR time has increased from 1 month to 3 months currently.
