When can I schedule biometric after submitting application through new IRCC portal

Hello, Just submitted my application from new IRCC portal https://portal-portail.apps.cic.gc.ca for Visitor visa From US (indian citizen). I wanted to schedule biometric appointment in advance but I dont see IRCC number needed to book appointment. Do I need to wait or where do I find the number to be able to book the appointment.

It took 4-6 hours to send biometrics letter
