I just recently applied for my Study Permit and i am waiting to hear back. My school starts in September but i am required to get to Canada 2 weeks before the start date for orientation. However, it will be my first time in the country, and i want more time to settle in, find a place to stay and so forth. Once i do have my study permit approval, does anyone know how early i can come into the country? Ideally, i would like to come between June 14th and August 1st, so that is about 3-2 months before the start date. Please let me know, thank you.

Technically, you can enter Canada when you have a TRV. However, VO at POE might question you and probably refuse entry for coming way too early.
