When can I apply for Jobs

Friends- I have received my visa this week. Planning to land within 3 months. With only the visa in hand, is it possible for us to apply for jobs? Or is it mandatory that we should have the SIN and PRC in hand? Pls advice

Hello

Yes u can apply. Dont disclose that u dont have SIN or have not landed. Give address of Canada in ur CV. U can get SIN the next day u land.

The problem that u might face is if u r called for an interview, they will not wait for 3 months for u to come. Then mostly the companies call and inform. They will not call outside Canada. U might have to rush in a week's time if they do contact by mail. And if u cant, it will be difficult for u to apply to same company again.

So my advice is to all the formalities of going for 2 months. Theres a lot to be done. Start looking for companies as well but apply when u r in a position to join as soon as to want u to.
