Hello thiago!! You need a 2-year study permit for your progtam with coop. Just like mine, my program has 1 year full theory and another year for coop. Your wife can apply for an owp. Best of luck! Btw, are you applying with an agency or personally?

Hello thiago. Yes, she can apply for owp together with your application for student permit. My situation is the same as yours but my agent strongly advised me to apply first without my husband so that the visa officer will really think that I have strong ties on my homeland and I will really go back here after studies. I'm praying to have my visa this month or next so that my husband's application for owp will be submitted then. We are just following our agent's advise since she's a friend of mine with long experience as education specialist for nz, Canada, aus. Hope my info.helps.
