I want to come to Canada as an International Student and get PR in the process but I'm not sure what to study.
I've got BA and Masters in Chinese Studies so I could do a PhD in the same subject but I don't know if I would get a job afterwards, so I'm thinking of studying Psychology, Law, Politics or Social Work, but I don't know which to choose. I want to choose something which will give me a good chance to find an interesting job in Canada, but I don't know the job market there so well.
I know it's a broad question but I'd be grateful for any guidance or suggestions!
your study should be relevant to your previous field , but what you mentioned does not.
If you wanna study new field in Canada, you should have a good reason to convince CIC in order to get study permit.
if your goal is to apply for PR, you can check out on CIC.
there is a lot of different category for PR application. (Express entry, provincial nominee etc)
