Hi everyone, maybe this has been asked, if so sorry for this but I can not find the thread.
My son is Canadian and I have a PR. Does this mean the time I live with him abroad count as live in Canada?
Second question, I am working for a Canafian company abroad, I still pay tax. Does this mean the time I work abroad for this company count as stay inCanada.
Time with a Canadian citizen spouse counts as time within Canada for maintaining your PR.
But in your case your child is a citizen. So according to the law the time outside doesnt count.
Please let others respond as well.

None of your time outside of Canada counts towards the citizenship residency requirement. Only the time you have spent physically in Canada counts towards citizenship.
