Hello ,
I applied for a student permit at new york canadian embassy on October 26th in person .
They gave me that receipt with my demand number , and the agent said that I should have a response by email from them within 30 days .
Now I'm worried , because my last day in the us will be december 20th ( my I-20 will expire ) , and I dont know what to do , to wait for them or asking for my passport back ...!
Do you know what I should do if I dont get a response within the next 10 days ? because I dont want to put my self in trouble risking by waiting till december 20th for their response.
Please any suggestions .
