What kind of questions to expect for a spousal sponsor visa interview?

We applied for a sponsor visa for my wife and two of our kids. Visa office inviting my wife for an interview. What kind of questions to expect? is an interview request is the good sign or bad sign in terms of application progress?

It's unusual and rare enough now that it's a bit hard to say. Usually not a good sign, as questions tend to be about 'is this a real relationship.'

In your case - are the kids your own or from spouse's previous relationship? Have you lived together etc?

How long did you / have you lived together? When did you immigrate to Canada as a PR / how long have you lived apart? (Why didn't you all immigrate when you became a PR)? How much time have you spent together since you left your country of origin? Were they declared as spouse/family (presumably as unaccompanying) when you applied to/became a PR?

I don't mean to be invasive, it's up to you whether to answer; just trying to figure out what the issue might be.

My guess (and hence the line of some of the questions) - I'm wondering if they have doubts the relationship is still ongoing. Although there are a few on slightly different things, as it could be about something else.
