What is the procedure to apply for student visa?????

hi all

Can anyone tell me the procedure for student visa...applying for 2 yrs diploma program..........under Non SPP...
do I need to first approach college/university......and then apply for visa???? hows it??? can any one guide me please...?

Start by reading through here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp and yes you need to approach a college/uni first as an offer is a prereq to applying for a permit. Also you need to ensure that any course you chose is relevant to your existing qualifications and experience not some random course.
