You need to attach attested copy of passports. But to get it attested you will need your original passport. Original PP is also required for verification at the time of submission of application. Parents have to sign Annexure H along with PP application.http://passport.gov.in/cpv/checklist.htm
You sent your passport 5 months in pregnancy, did you inform this material change to the visa office?

You should to sumbit the original passport of guardian to make for new born.
