What is the minimum time to apply for an extension for a TRV?

Hi, my study permit was extended till 3/2020. I extended my TRV 2 months ago and it was extended for only 6 months. I have travel plans in june where my TRV would be expired. When can I apply to extend my visa? Can I apply now? Is it too early? I was thinking that the officer might reject the application since it is too early. Any suggestions? Thank you

It's not too early. You can definitely apply for it to be extended, application fee will apply though.

Hi, just an update about what happened. I applied for TRV extension, they refused it immediately due to applying early. thanks
